Fernandes Denies Arguing With Solskjaer

Bruno Fernandes has denied reports that he clashed with Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer when he was humiliated by Tottenham in the English Premier League (EPL).

Fernandes was reportedly furious after being released after the break as they trailed 1-4 in the match at Old Trafford, earlier this month.

The Portuguese international opened the scoring through a penalty kick but was said to have clashed with the Norwegian manager.

However, Fernandes dismissed the allegation while driving Portugal’s 3-0 win over Sweden in the League of Nations (UNL), early this morning.

“Speculation about it is blowing fast,” the midfielder told Sport TV, via A Bola.

“First we linked quarrels with teammates for not going down defensively, then the incident with Victor Lindelof and now, my issue with Solskjaer.

“I believe this is a way to ruin the atmosphere of our team, what is being said is not true.

“I was replaced in the first half, yes I was disappointed but it was based on technical options. The manager told me that the match is almost over and we will face many more matches. Indeed I am not satisfied but did not come to say anything could affect this group. ”

After only winning once in the opening three matches of the English Premier League (EPL), Solskjaer faced great pressure at United.

However, Fernandes stressed that Manchester United were ready to respond when tested by Newcastle United, early this Sunday morning, while warning that such speculation should be stopped.

“Do not use my name, friend or coach to cause problems at Manchester United,” he said.

“The atmosphere at our camp is good and the team will be ready to give an answer (to criticism) in the next match.”
