Chelsea Loan Moses To Spartak Moscow
Victor Moses once again left Chelsea on loan when joining Russian champion Spartak Moscow for the 2020-21 season.
The 29-year-old last played with the English Premier League (EPL) club two years ago and since then he has been able to spend his loan term at Fenerbahce and Inter.
The former Nigerian international joined The Blues from Wigan Athletic in 2012 but was regularly loaned out.
Moses’ move to Spartak was his sixth destination after Liverpool, Stoke City, West Ham, Fenerbahce and Inter.
Spartak, who are in second place behind Zenit after 10 Russian Premier League matches, have confirmed they have the option to redeem Moses’ contract at the end of his loan term.
“Spartak Moscow and Chelsea have reached an agreement on the transfer of Nigerian star Victor Moses to our club,” they wrote on Twitter.
“The loan agreement with the 29-year-old midfielder until the end of the season with the option to buy it!”
Moses made 20 appearances for Inter last season, including being involved in five Europa League matches when they advanced to the final before losing to Sevilla.
