LISBON: Cristiano Ronaldo is getting closer to the record for the top scorer of all time as European champions Portugal thrashed Andorra 7-0 in a friendly just now.
The Juventus star came off the bench to score Portugal’s 102nd goal in the 85th minute.
Former Iranian striker Ali Daei holds a record with 109 goals.
Portugal, who continue their preparations for next year’s European Championships, will play in the League of Nations against France early this Sunday morning, easily overcoming Andorra.
