Cafu: PSG Will Be Unbeaten With Neymar, Mbappe, Messi

If Lionel Messi joins Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, it will make Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) an unbeatable team, Cafu said.

Messi’s future with Barca remains a question mark after the Argentine star plans to leave the team at the end of last season before announcing to stay with the team for another season.

Manchester City are the team often associated with the six-time winner of the Ballon d’Or Awards, where the move will see Messi reunite with his former coach Pep Guardiola in England.

Neymar, meanwhile, expressed his desire to rejoin Messi as soon as PSG beat Manchester United in the Champions League by saying: “Next year, we have to play together, that’s for sure.”

The former Barca striker had previously reportedly wanted to return to the Camp Nou but insisted he was very happy to be in the French capital. The Ligue 1 champion is in talks on the extension of the contract of Neymar and his teammate, Mbappe.

Brazilian legend Cafu believes the presence of Messi – a player he described as a phenomenon – will make PSG the team they want to beat.

“It will be a phenomenon,” Cafu told Stats Perform News.

“I want to play against them. Playing against Messi, Mbappe and Neymar is definitely difficult.

“It will be a very strong trio. It is very clear I do not know whether Messi will go to PSG or not, That is the rumor that is being talked about at the moment.

“But if Messi joins Mbappe and Neymar, PSG will be a problem for most clubs. They will be the target team to beat in the world.

“Messi is a phenomenon. The way Messi plays football is the most beautiful in the world. With the talents of Neymar and Mbappe, it will make them an unbeatable team,” he said.
