Ibrahimovic Scored Twice When AC Milan Beat Inter Milan 2-1
MILAN: Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored two goals in his first game after returning following a COVID-19 infection when AC Milan beat neighbors Inter Milan 2-1 and then climbed to first place in Serie A after Atalanta lost 4-1 to Napoli.
But defending champions Juventus, who played without Cristiano Ronaldo undergoing quarantine were tied 1-1 by newly upgraded Crotone with their first points of the season lifting the squad from the south out of the league.
“I was very hungry and it was already shown,” said Ibrahimovic, who scored two goals in the match.
“They locked the wrong animal in the house for two weeks.
“It is not mentally easy to always be at home after fierce competition, the body shivers because it wants to work, it wants to play.
“I lose a little appetite, but I have to do tests every three days and no one can stop me from playing the neighbor.
“The clash against this neighbor is very important, AC Milan did not win for four years.”
