Leicester City Ended Four Losing Streak
SHEFFIELD, United Kingdom: Leicester City ended a four-match drought without a win by beating Sheffield United 2-1 at Bramall Lane.
Clubs in zone three in England may still not have an audience, compared to those in zones one and two such as London and Liverpool which can accommodate up to 2,000 supporters.
Jamie Vardy scored the winning goal in the last minute after Oli McBurnie offset Ayoze Perez’s opening goal.
“I think we deserve this victory. Twice our attempt hit the post and had many other chances.
“Our combination was pretty good and we survived well. We were just waiting for the last pass and it happened at the end of the game.
“The goal was to win and Jamie Vardy was one of the best players in Europe in that position,” said Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers.
