Inter midfielder Arturo Vidal will use his experience with Barcelona as an additional incentive to chase a win over Real Madrid in the Champions League clash (UCL), early tomorrow morning.

Vidal spent two seasons at the Camp Nou before changing winds to Serie A when he joined Inter at a bargain price last September.

The Chile international has made eight appearances with the Nerazzurri and is expected to face Madrid in a Group B match in the Spanish capital.

Vidal wants to secure three points for Inter at Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano, so he plans to celebrate the victory with his old and new club supporters.

“All the matches will be very bitter for us at this time,” he said in a press conference before the match.

“It will be an interesting match, important to determine the position in the group. I will face them as if I am still a Barcelona player.

“I’ve been through two amazing seasons in Barcelona, so I look forward to celebrating that victory alongside Inter and Barcelona fans.”

Vidal intends to emerge the first player to score against Madrid with three different teams at the European level when he did so with Serie A champion Juventus and Bundesliga defender Bayern Munich.

The 33-year-old has yet to make a name for himself as Inter scorer but has a reputation for scoring eight goals in his last season with Barca, surpassed only by Antoine Griezmann (9), Luis Suarez (16) and Lionel Messi (25).

“I used to score a lot of goals but now I have to give my best and carry out the manager’s instructions,” he said.

“I often put the team first.

“I am happy to be here and I will continue to do what the manager asks.”

Madrid have won six of their seven meetings with Inter, but this is the first time the Spaniard has hosted their clash since September 1998 in their 2-0 win.
